Luxury Dining & Restaurants in Santa Fe, NM
One of many joys of calling our Tribute Portfolio resort home is you have some of the best dining in Santa Fe—a city boasting an outstanding restaurant scene—right here on our gardened grounds.
Julia, A Spirited Restaurant & Bar
Centerpiece of the La Posada de Santa Fe culinary world is Julia, A Spirited Restaurant & Bar, which offers an elegant menu drawing heavily upon locally sourced ingredients and deeply influenced by multifaceted Southwestern cookery as well as classic preparations from well beyond the region.
The name of the restaurant derives from our muse, Julia Staab, who settled on this property with her husband, Abraham, in 1882. Julia was a matron of Santa Fe high society, and it’s her gracious, refined hospitality—and, so the story goes, her spirit’s lingering presence at La Posada de Santa Fe—which we honor in our flagship eatery.
Julia, A Spirited Restaurant & Bar is open every day for breakfast (Enchiladas Monchadas, Chorizo Burrito, a slew of omelets, and more), lunch (Chile con Queso, Charred Tomato Bisque, Cubano Sandwich, and other delicacies), and dinner (Scallop Escabeche, Fried Alamosa Striped Bass, Coffee Rubbed Native American New York Strip, Black Bean Bisque, and Christmas Tamales, to name only a few highlights). We also offer a very popular tapas menu readymade for cocktail hour, stacked with such mouthwatering small plates as Morcilla Street Tacos, Crab Enchiladas, Croquettes de Jamon, Green Chile Maize Stuffed Quail, and Fire Roasted Olives.
In the 19th-century Staab Mansion, meanwhile, our seductive bar, the Staab House, served up delectable tavern fare, some of the zestiest cocktails in all of Santa Fe (including the Juliarita margarita, included on the Official Santa Fe Margarita Trail), and regular live music.
Outdoor dining around cozy kiva fireplaces and under a magnificent New Mexico sky? That’s the distinctive appeal of our Patio Restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and anytime libations.
Our gorgeous and intimate tapas bar, infused with Southwestern spirit, offers fabulous small plates alongside an extensive menu of Spanish, Portuguese, and South American wines, plus the finest tequilas and mescals—not to mention some excellent local microbrews. Spanish singer/guitarist Nacha Mendez performs at Julia’s Social Club each Friday evening from 6:30 to 9:30 PM: a highlight of the La Posada de Santa Fe social week!
